With over a decade of showcasing the region’s best food and drink producers, Powderham Food Festival is returning for another exciting year.
Whether you’re attending trade, or just want to indulge in local foods in a glorious setting, this weekend is one you don’t want to miss.

A weekend filled to the brim
Local food, drinks, crafts and entertainment in the grounds of Powderham Castle. Here’s a taste of what we have in store.
For the Foodies
Over 100 traders offering samples, dishes to enjoy on-site and produce to take home, including a World Foods area of street-food-style dishes.
Drink Connoisseurs
Craft beers, distinctive ales, locally distilled spirits and artisanal soft drinks. The Powderham Pub returns with alcoholic and alcohol-free options.
Talks & Demos
The demo stage line-up is here: gluten free baking with Laura Strange, a MasterChef finalist, chocolate moulding, fish over fire and more.
Craft Stalls
A treasure trove of handcrafted gifts from talented local artisans, from handmade silver jewellery to one-of-a-kind art pieces.
Coffee Enthusiasts
Locally roasted beans, refreshing cold brews and a range of delicious coffee selections and treats.
Fun & Entertainment
Dan the Hat, the Bouncing Chefs, climbing wall, archery, Gross Eats with Under The Canopy and the chilli eating competition. Dogs welcome too, on a short lead.
Think you can handle the heat?
Hosted by the Clifton Chilli Club, the chilli eating competition pits Devon’s bravest against round after round of ever-hotter chillies. Watch from a safe distance, or step up and take them on: 2:30pm on the demo stage, both days.
